Accident statistics

This is the accident statistics section of the European Road Safety Observatory, entirely devoted to EU traffic safety data. Under this section you can find a yearly updated Statistical Report and Traffic Safety Basic Facts based on data from the CARE database. The Accident databases section introduces you to the traffic safety databases. In this section, a distinction is made between European, global, and national databases. Also, some attention is given to the New database about in-depth accident causation which is currently being developed by SafetyNet researchers.
