Interactive data
To acquire an understanding of accident data there is no better way than actually using data. The section Interactive data provides you with opportunity to analyse road casualty data with the use of about 40 variables describing characteristics of the accident and the accident victim. The casualty database provided is about Dutch road safety victims in the period 1987-2005. In this database the basic variables about drivers and victims are: sex, age, alcohol use and severity of injury. Basic variables about accidents include: type of accident, time, day, location, collision partner, speed limit, weather, special circumstances, main causes, road surface, street lightning.
