Availability of SPI data in EU

On average, usable data for the calculation of safety performance indicators is available for two thirds of the countries. Most of these data were obtained via the National Experts, who

filled in the questionnaires. For some indicator areas, additional data were gathered via other channels, like the SUNflower+6 and the SARTRE projects.

The Table below gives an overview of the data availability and usability. For each country and for each indicator area the table indicates whether or not data are available and whether these data are suitable to calculate SPIs.
